The Get It Ready terms, in plain English

What you pay, and when

Nothing is due while we build the site or while you review it. There is no setup fee. Your first payment is due the day your website goes live.

On launch day you choose one of two ways to pay: the first month, after which you pay each month; or the whole year up front, which comes with two months free. The prices are on the pricing page.

If you prefer to own the site outright from the start, there is a one-time option: $2,500 once, plus $79 a month for hosting and keeping the site running.

The 12-month minimum

The minimum term is 12 months, counted from the day your site goes live, not from the day you sign. After 12 months, the service continues month to month, and you can end it with 30 days’ notice.

The cost of designing and building your site is included in those first 12 months instead of being charged up front. That is why there is a minimum. The exact wording about ending the agreement early is in the agreement you sign, and we’ll go through it with you before anything is built.

What is always yours

• Your domain. It is registered in your name, in your own account, from day one. We administer it for you; we never hold it.
• Your content. Your words, photos and logo are yours.
• Your leads. Every request that comes through your website goes to your email. We never sell or share it.

The design and the code

While you are a customer, you hold a license to the design and code of your site. After 24 paid months, they are yours to keep at no cost. If you leave sooner and want to keep them, you can buy them for what remains of the first year.

The Get It Ready terms: what each plan includes

Every plan includes a custom-designed site, hosting, the https padlock, an estimate form that sends every request to your email, up to one hour of changes a month made by us, the technical SEO setup, and a monthly report. Growth adds a managed Google Business Profile and one new local SEO page or article a month: we suggest the topic, and the page goes up on your site only after you approve it. It does not count against your hour of changes. Pro adds landing pages for your ad campaigns.

A few features are not live yet, and we say so wherever they appear: the customer dashboard, automatic review requests, an AI assistant on your site, and online booking with deposits. Until they exist, they are not part of what you are buying.

What we do not promise

We build sites that are fast, easy to find and easy to call from. We can’t guarantee a ranking on Google, a number of calls or a number of leads, and nobody honest can, because they depend on your market, your competitors, your reviews and Google. What we can promise is the work, the checks we run on it, and that we’ll tell you the truth about the results.

Google Ads is not part of these plans. If we offer it later, it will be a separate service, and you would pay Google directly in your own account.

If these terms change
